About Moorlane Sutton Supply, Inc.
C.R. Sutton first began working for Moorlane Company in 1949, prior to working
as an engineer at Corken Pump Company in Oklahoma City, where he learned the PVF
In 1960, Mr. Sutton purchased the Oklahoma City branch of the well-known
Moorlane Company. C.R.'s wife, Barbara joined him at the company offices, sitting
side by side greeting customers at the order desk. The Suttons poured their
life into the Moorlane Sutton Supply Company making it the area leader in the
PVF-industrial supply market. The company incorporated in 1978. Growth and
expansion was wisely kept to a minimum during the Oklahoma “boom” years, and
the Suttons stayed in the market they knew best. This strategy paid off in the
long run as MSS, Inc. is still a thriving corporation in the PVF industry.
Sadly, Mr. C.R. Sutton passed away in 1998, leaving the company in the capable
hands of his son, Rick Sutton. Barbara Sutton is still active in
the company. While automation plays a bigger role in the company, Rick still
operates the business much as his father did; sitting at the front desk, greeting
customers, and making sure that questions about pressure, temperature, and
general serviceability of the product versus application are addressed; without
stepping over the boundaries of “engineering”.
The Moorlane Sutton Supply, Inc. philosophy of personal service ensures that the
customer gets optimum results for each job. Many supply companies have come
and gone, but MSS, Inc. has survived through many ups and downs, and the personal
touch continues to this day.
